NickiTALKS: Moving on..

Recently, In my “Relationships” blog I gave ways and tips on how to make it work in a relationship, however everyone doesn’t last and relationships tend to end. Therefore, if that happens then the stage of regrouping begins, you move on to better things. I believe once a relationships is over between two mates, you shouldn’t automatically move on into a new relationship, give yourself time to find yourself again and heal. The need for love and attention should not be your focus, jumping into another relationship so quickly will only last for so long. The healing process will begin and life will as well, you might sit there and cry, let it out! Or you might celebrate your new found freedom depending on the issues you’ve dealt with in your previous relationship. You will have friends that will want you to start dating ASAP, however do it when your ready. I don’t necessarily think your friends mean harm, but at this time in your life your decisions are the best. Enjoy life and really pay attention to what qualities you want your next boyfriend or girlfriend to have; whenever your ready to get back into a relationship. Work on yourself as well, look back and think about how you behaved in certain situations in your past relationships and think about did you handle those certain situations, the way it should have been handled. You always want to grow and mature in life. Never go into another relationship, being the same person doing the same stuff, you are not getting any younger, so do not continue to act as a child. Take it a day at a time, do exciting things, hang out with positive friends, enjoy your family. Life is a journey, don’t let it end over a relationship. Sooo in words of one of my favorite artists ” Men be falling like the rain, so we ain’t running out” -Rihanna
